Cultural differences are funny, aren’t they? I mean, where I come from, stoning adulterers and cutting off people’s heads would be considered a bit of a social faux pas, but in the Middle East it’s classified as light weekend entertainment. Ditto for China. Go to your average tier-3 restaurant in a tier-3 city and you’ll see all kinds of behaviour that cultural relativism tells us is fine.
